Draft the table runner template, measurements in cm.
Cut out 1x from outer fabric.
Fold 4 cm (1 5/8 in) seam allowance and press. Next, fold the corners inward, draw a line at 2 cm (3/4 in) and trim.
Fold the seam allowance inward 2x 2 cm (3/4 in) (to the wrong side) and pin. Press the corners precisely and pin them as well.
Now sew the 4 corners together by hand.
Next, topstitch the seam allowance topstitch all around, close to the edge.
Cut 2x piping strip and 2x tassel trim to a length of approx. 42 cm (16 1/2 in), pin to the two narrow ends of the runner and stitch (you may have to sew the sides by hand).
And finally, sew the 4 tassels to the corners by hand.
Decorate your runner with more table adormnents like candles flowers and more.
What really makes this table runner pop are the tassels. Don't have any on hand? They are easy to make yourself and you can match the yarn to your fabric
