How is the perfect holiday dress put together? In this case we would say it would have a breezy cut that isn’t too snug, though one that can be drawn toward the figure with a belt...one that lays in mini pleats tucked into a neckline band that also is constructed to be the dress straps. Of course, one that is sewn with a fabric that is wrinkle-resistant in a cool stripe design – that can survive in the travel case without trouble because I think we can all agree that a holiday should not include a lot of ironing duties.
Perhaps most importantly, we want our holiday dress to easily be comfortable enough for cocktails, for dinner and for time to sit on the shoreline. "This dress" is also easy to style and accessorize: a pair of flat sandals and a bag for shopping in the city; alone as a cover-up at the beach; and evenings with sexy sandals and striking jewelry to shine.
