The Vintage Model

In the midst of the 1950s, as elegance and hope are reborn, Aenne Burda, a visionary and determined woman, transforms a marital betrayal into a springboard. She takes over a struggling fashion publishing house and establishes herself as a major figure in creation and women's emancipation. With her elegant and affordable patterns, she offered women the freedom to sew their own sophisticated and modern wardrobes, a success that continues to this day.
The 1950s marked the golden age of feminine chic, embodied by icons such as Audrey Hepburn. The "Audrey" dress (model 130), reissued from a Burda pattern from fall 1958-1959, is the perfect illustration: a fitted and highly feminine jacquard design with a heart-shaped neckline and a charming bow that accentuates the silhouette.
Paris, My Love

More confident than ever, Parisian fashion expresses its style through every piece in the collection: each detail and fabric reveal a perfectly mastered chic. The new Parisienne no longer limits herself to classic elegance; she dares bold combinations, both modern and truly fashionable.
The blouse 107 is anything but ordinary! A masterpiece, the model's raglan sleeves are split at the forearms and take on a ruffled look. We love the eye-catching print in a refined black & white fluid cotton, perfect to wear all year round.
The must-have piece to sew for a standout look come fall? The cropped jacket 111 in patent leather! The style oozes confidence with its cropped waist and a "bubble" effect created by darts. The double-breasted design reinforces a fashionable and couture aesthetic.
