Focus: Burda Style Issue 10/2021: Green Dreaming

“Does this look good on me?” This is certainly the most common thing we say when we wear various shades of green. But of course, you look great! It all depends on what shade you wear. People with lighter skin tones look great in more delicate pastels, while a darker complexion looks amazing in bolder colors. And emerald green is just incredible on anyone! So, take a look at this collection from the Burda Style October 2021 issue!

Green Suede

Velours vert<

This model to the left is much more than a simple sweatshirt! The top is incredibly elegant thanks to its perfectly placed darts and pockets set into the side seam. Plus, it is made from a fine suede for a cozy fit. The dress to the right can be sewn right away and worn in any kind of season. The model, featuring drop sleeves and a deep V-neck, is perfect in winter over a turtleneck and fabulous to don in spring and pair with some strappy sandals.

Green Light

Feu vert

The lovely pleated skirt to the left can be worn with heels in warmer weather and boots when it gets a bit more chilly. We love how versatile this model is and are just swooning over its fabulous cut and gorgeous wide waistband. Most of us only have trousers in shades of black, blue, or khaki in our wardrobe, so this stunning model to the right is a fun change! Who would not want to show off such charming pants with practical French pockets, belt loops in twill, and featuring an alluring color?

Green with Envy

Vert de désir

The model to the left will keep you nice and warm—and you are sure to stay in style! The fitted sweater looks like it is knitted by hand, and the long scarf that comes with is ideal for wrapping around your neck or shoulders. But put your knitting needles away because this model is made for sewing! The piece to the right is testament to how tie neck blouses are ultra-stylish. This elegant top in shiny silk features large, beautiful sleeves with an elastic cuff for a dreamy, draped look.

Dresses in knit fabric are our secret weapon for the cooler months. This model to the left is one of our favorites thanks to its midi length, unique sleeves, and turtleneck. Plus, it is sophisticated enough to wear to a business meeting or after-work drinks yet casual enough to ensure ultimate comfort. The 60s-inspired piece to the right is a beauty! Featuring a short standing collar, fabric-covered buttons, hidden pockets, and pleated seam ends, this coat will be a new autumn favorite. Plus, with the help of our step-by-step directions through a special workshop in our magazine, even beginners can sew it together with no trouble at all!
