I have a little short sleeve sweater similar to this that I bought at TJ Maxx years ago. I love it so much that I decided to copy it. Here is my long sleeve version. I used a heavy weight cotton jersey and made a closure with three red vintage buttons that I had picked up the day before at our version of The Salvation Army. It was pretty simply to make. I also made a short sleeve version in a lighter weight, drapier cotton jersey which I will upload as well. If I ever get around to uploading a pattern, it will probably be this one because it would be pretty easy to do (I think! ;)

heavyweight cotton jersey - almost like a very tight woven sweaterknit, but not - I really love this fabric and wish I could find more!

I really like the way you have used the stripes to make it so original and I love the splash of red with the buttons.
