For my first cross country race amongst the short shorts and club vests of the Proper Running Clubs, I wanted something that would stand out and show that my Run dem Crew group was not the same as them! Being the middle of December, I needed a long sleeved top to layer under my RDC vest, and I made my leggings with disconium fabric down the outer legs to really stand out. Additionally, I modified the sleeved to create “mitts” to flip over my hands and keep them warm for the start of my winter runs (you can see my pattern alteration for this here ).

Eggplant and black Suziplex from Suzi Spandex in Montreal, plus Betabrand disconium for the outer legs.
