My youngest son recently outgrew the first round of shirts I made for him. Some of them my very first sewing projects. Here is the start of the next set. I’m using a vintage pattern (Simplicity 7244). So far we have one made from vintage denim with some Pendleton wool remnants I had left over from another project. The second one is a cotton print with some extra piping detail. My model was feeling a little melancholy this evening.

These are amazing, I love the way you used the wool remnants. He’s going to be the coolest looking kid at school!

Aww! These are fantastic!!! What lucky kids to get mum-made clothing!! I’m so excited to have my own kiddies that I can make cute outfits like this for!! . . . But at only 19, I’d say I’ll have a little while to wait! :P
