Description

I made two alterations to the original pattern that turned this project into an ordinary shirt, rather than a sophisticated blouse as in the magazine. BUT I can live with it because I love the colour.
1. I shortened the tie. Big mistake. Now it´s a bit dull.
2. I lengthened the sleeves and omitted the turn ups. Well, I meant to make a proper long sleeve but then I found out I didn’t have enough fabric so I compromised halfway.
I still like it a lot, so I´m going to make it again following the pattern word by word.

So adorable. And I love the color paired with the navy polka dots!

It looks great – your choice of colour and sleeve and tie length give a great 60’s feel :)

You´re fantastic! I haven’t got any more fabric left but I´ll try folding the sleeves up. Thanks very much for your advice
