Entry 1 for the Vintage Modern Design Challenge. I decided to work with the Free Vintage Pattern “One-Seam Skirt” from Indygo Junction. I used a knit fabric and made the belt/cummerbund a separate piece out of woven material. This means that you could make a bunch of different colors and styles to change the look (great for traveling)! I kept the center-front kissing pleat, but added a fold-over knit waistband so that it could be worn a number of different ways. (I also made the reversible blouse as my second submission.) I hope you like it!
