The skirt is a part of the suit I made last week-end. Don’t remember how long I’d had the fabric in my stash, but not less than two years. The silhouette is one of the most flattering for any figure, it’s womanish and for this fabic is a good choice because it’s very soft and well-draping.
The fabric is very nice. It’s both tweed and velvet so I had to be attentive with the direction of the pile. And it gives so nice shot effect while wearing.

Georgeus skirt! I can’ t figure out very well the sheme of the pattern pieces….has it diagonial seams?

Yes, the gores are diagonal from a side seam, they are assymetrical: one side of them is broadened much more than the other. Some kind of modified godet. There’s a small yoke on the skirt. I mentioned the issue if it can be useful.
