I got frustrated trying to make a cloche, so I decided to make a beret instead. Had made one previously with plain cotton, but it wasn’t too exciting. This tweed version is a lot more stylish, albeit too small on me. I lined it with cotton, and finish the raw edge with binding of the cotton lining. Also made the little nub to make it even more beret-y.
Tweed from an old skirt that no longer fits.

Very Cute. :) I like the fabric/ love the recyling of the skirt. I actually have two different skirts that I will be making over into hats.
