Cold and flu season is upon us and this could not be a more appropriate item. This travel tissue cozy is very simple to make, practical and makes a great addition to school backpacks, handbags or business totes.
Each tissue cozy requires very little fabric and you can quite easily churn out several in just one hour! You can be as simple or creative as you choose. Try adding a ribbon tie closure to the front, or as a pretty trim along the opening. Perhaps a tiny patchwork version? These make great stocking stuffers or affordable small gifts. Why not not tuck one into a matching handmade cosmetics pouch?
Cotton, thread, ribbon (optional)

This is a great beginner project for young sewers. I helped my 7 year old make several for a church fundraiser. I helped her cut them out. Then I drew a line on the seams with a pencil, so that she could have a guide for sewing straight. She has loved making them.

Great instructions and a really nice finished piece. I’ll be trying that. Thanks for sharing

I agree, so many times I have looked at an image of a pattern I wanted to make yet the instructions were horrible. This looks like a great easy mini project for cute little stocking stuffers. Love it!!
