Cotton knit Spiral Scarf (please see my first scarf – “Layered Spiral Scarf” with PDF’s under “Make It”) with Alabama Chanin inspired hand-appliques.
This was a take-along project that I used to keep from fidgeting at our recent Town Meeting, which can be a long, drawn-out event. It was also a chance to start practicing some simple hand-sewing, since I really want to make an Alabama Chanin-inspired garment completely by hand. This was easy and relaxing, amazingly!
