Tonia is the piece in your closet that fits any occasion. Wear it with a beautiful evening top, a blazer and boots. Wear it with a cardigan and some tennis shoes. Our sample is made of a woolen suiting material; corduroy or plaids would make the whole look a bit sportier. The pattern is easy to adjust in length if need. You can also play with the width of the hemband at the leg. More difficult pattern changes would be adding to or eliminating the gathering.

Love these shorts but what’s with the area just under the button? (don’t know what it’s called) It’s all wrinkled and funny looking.

I love how these shorts look, but I’m not sure they will compliment my curves. I already have enough hips for tomorrow..lol. So, would they look good on thicker, curvier curves??

I’m 5’10 and these shorts are super cute with a nicepair of 3" in heels. They drape wonderfully with a lightweight demin or twill.

My body shape is basically ‘apple on a pair of sticks’ so I’ve ALWAYS had trouble finding shorts that fit. These look like they would fit (or at least made to) but I don’t have any idea if they would look good on me though…

Burdastyle please provide a print at copy shop option for this-I’m not paying for something that I then have to spend a couple of hours (and way too much brain pain) ‘assembling’. Tthe folded bits of put together patterns are also a pain to transfer and cutting out the excess isn’t exactly ‘stringent’ either.. :(

I agree, that’s why I don’t buy most of the patterns I see. :o(

Not sure about the cuffs round the bottom. On my chunky thighs they would dig right in!! Perhaps this is just one for the tall skinny model types ;)

This looks like this pattern is only a good idea if you have very long and skinny legs. I can’t imagine adding bulk to the largest part of my body with all of those pleats!!

I can’t believe there are shorts with my name the way I spell it. I have a hard time finding people named Tonia.

true, but I have to say, it was a bit snug on her in the waist and therefore the pants sat very high on her..
