A friend gave me a bag of vintage lace from her late mother-in-law’s stash. I thought it would be fun to use some of the lace on a dress for my friend’s grand daughter. I used a quilters cotton, and New Look pattern (6884). The detail on the bodice of the dress was done with a wing needle, and decorative flower stitch.

thanks, aibby. I actually started with just the collar, and “built” the dress around it.

I think this is beautiful. The little ribbon, the lace, the pleating….I love it all.
