This dress as made using Simplicity 2444, one of their Project Runway patterns. I thought this fabric had a real retro appearance, so I really wanted a full skirted number. I love this dress – and it wasn’t hard at all! My blog entry for this dress can be found “here.”http://stitchywitch.wordpress.com/2011/01/10/simplicity-2444/
A lovely cotton sateen, originally from J.Crew. I love finding designer fabrics!

What a gorgeous dress! It looks great, the fabric is awesome. It reminds me of that star dress that Carey Mulligan wore at the Toronto film festival.
