I made this really easy lace stripe top. I based it off of my Bateau square floral shirt I made a while ago. I used a square of ivory cotton (preshrunk) and vintage lace fabric. I added a little bow to the corner of the bateau neckline. I just measured for the thickest part so I didn’t have to wear a shirt underneath and everything would be covered that needed to be. I got lots of compliments so fat on it an I love it. It is sweet and sexy :)
I wore it with my Liberty of London bra underneath for a little bit of floral peeking through. Going out I wore it with black skinny pants, bright hoops earings and bright print platforms and during the day rolled hem jeans, couple bracelets and ballet flats for the warmer weather I wore it with jean shorts and wedges for a sexy day look.
Thrifted Vintage lacey fabric, heavy ivory cotton (left over from old project), thread.

Beautiful, sexy but simple. I like it. I might have to borrow this lace idea.
