Supplies:
1 oversized sweater
12″ zipper
STEP 1 Cut off the bottom of the sweater so that the hem sits right at your waist.
STEP 2 Reinforce the side seams by back stitching.
STEP 3 Create a bigger neckline by cutting off the old one.
STEP 4 Reinforce the shoulder seams by backstitching.
STEP 5 Trim bottom of sleeves to make new 3/4″ inch sleeves.
STEP 6 Reinforce the seam in the sleeve by backstitching.
STEP 7 Cut a 12″ slit into one sleeve.
STEP 8 Sew in zipper.
STEP 9 Top stitch 1/4″ away from zipper teeth.
Note: There’s no need to finish the raw edges.
