For Christmas this last year I decided to make all my nieces and nephews superhero capes. I appliqued the first initial of each child onto the back of their cape using the color from the other side. For the families with multiple children the printed fabrics coordinate with each other.
I hope to get pictures of all of them together wearing these soon!
My husband drafted out the pattern for the neck holes for me.

I made one of these for my 3 year old son, and he thinks it great! We went to the fabric shop to let him pick out the fabric – he felt very special. Now he wants me to make one for his brother, his cousin, his preschool …..?!
