I made this dress to wear at my cousin’s wedding. I cut the pattern from an old bed sheet (the top sheet), which I bought from a thrift store.
Top sheet from a double-bed sheet. Zipper.
Eyelet.

This is beautiful. I love the cut of the dress, it is very elegant while still fun and summery.

The midriff was made from the decorative (top) of the sheet and I made the lining from another white bed sheet. The softness of the worn sheets made it very comfortable!

Just beautiful! Love the fabric! What did you use for the waistband? Was that part of the sheet as well or did you use something else? Regardless it is perfect!

great dress—I love that people use old sheet sets to make clothing, they always have the coolest patterns on them (and lots of material in case we goof up!)
