I made this skirt from cotton fabric. I love how it turned out, though I did a size 34 instead of a 36, so found that the buttons gaped a lot at the front. I ended up adding additional facing behind the buttons for modesty. Overall it was pretty easy: I just got confused with the instructions on the self facing.
