Supersimple blouse with batwing sleeve detail. I doubled the body, so the neck- and the hemline are really nice done, and any shine through is bannend, only the sleeves are single layered fabric – but with the same hemdetail as the body. The main design idea was the larger front – you can wear it like this, or make a fold and tuck it in skirt or pants or pin down the fold at the neckline with a nice brooche. Like it sooo much.
Skirt: After I managed to draw the pattern, this one was a real quickie! Made from jersey (navy with white star print) I did everything at the serger. Only for the hem I used my sewing machine. Love the folding detail and the pockets …
Blouse: only bad thing is the fabric: I stashed it for years, was pretty expensive once, but comes from an austrian high-end-quality linen and cotton manufacturer – and that´s the problem – would be a great fabric for sheets – supersoft, but for garment … after a few hours I look like I have slept in the blouse ;-( Popeline would have been the right choice!
