This is maybe my favorite thing I’ve ever sewn. I’ve worn it twice in the 5 days since I made it. And (surprise!) it’s from the Simplicity pattern that keeps on giving – Simplicity 2694 (“inspired by Project Runway”). I was inspired by a dress I saw at Anthropologie, and already had the fabric on hand.
The blue and green seer-sucker was a thirsted remnant, and the skirt is from a thirsted bed sheet. The bodice is lined, and the skirt has two layers.

That dratted spell check! :) I thought maybe it was some kind of fabric term I’ve never heard before. Thanks for clarifying! ;)

Hi! What does “thirsted” mean (in regards to fabric)? O_o

Oops, it’s supposed to say “thrifted” – as in, I picked the fabric up super cheap at a thirft store. :P I guess my spell check was being a little too helpful…
