New York, New Yo...
And my Senior Prom dress (2008). Again, a couple years late. This turned out a little differently than I expected (I wanted the skirt to be fuller, but I ran out of time to do a petticoat), but I’m really happy with it. The skirt is a return to one of my first projects (it’s the white skirt I photographed the corset with), with the various gathers. The big difference is that I spaced the gathers evenly here, rather than a pull here and a pull there as I liked it. The main focus of the bodice is the corset underneath, which I made removable so I could wear it again (which I did).
