My first go at a running shirt can be seen here and was based on Sadie. I found it to be too short and a tad bit too tight. I recently bought a racerback tank= at Tilly’s with a fit I liked and the style was sporty so I used it for a pattern to make this. I love the length and the roominess; and after going for a trial run in it, I really love the moisture wicking fabric I got at fabric.com, but the neckline is far too low. I even adjusted the pattern to take 2" out of the strap length, but I will definitely have to redraw the neckline on the pattern to be higher – as it is, it lays below the neckline of my sports bra! It is still usable, but I look forward to bringing up the neckline and making a couple more!

Cute and handy! I think I might try to sew some exercise clothes as well. Thanks for the idea and tank looks just like the one in the link! Great job!
