I been wanting to do ruffles but I have been afraid. I love the top but not for me. Big and blousy is not the most flattering shape for me.

Very cute ruffles! Love the combination of fabrics and I don’t find the blouse to be “not for you” at all. We all want to look glam, but sometimes it’s more about comfort and that looks oh-so-comfy without looking like a sack!

Now ruffles no longer scare you I guess! Beautiful top. Which technique are you afraid of now?;) Surely it will turn out great when you confront it as beautifully as you did for this top!

cute top! I think it could fit you very well tucked into a tight fitting skirt or jeans. Or you could belt it!

I also wanted to say, that you could try to take it in at the sides. If it is not helping you could add darts at the front. It is a beautiful top and would be a pity if you could not wear it!

I disagree. The colour is beautiful on you and you just need to either tuck it in or shape it so that it’s not so boxy.
