This is the first BurdaStyle pattern I’ve ever used — it’s 7376, a print pattern I bought on sale. It’s a very simple yet elegant dress. No closures! Highly recommended.

Be proud Girl! Beautiful dress, and in my very favorite colour. I think it would look great as a jumper also if you were to wear it with a white T-shirt

I have the same pattern and started making it using a slightly thicker little elasticated satin, but i did not like the outcome. I tried with a little lower neckline also cut out the belt and added an obi style leather belt instead.
Now i see your version which is perfect as it is and I have to wonder what did I do wrong:-)
Yours is superb! Congrat!

Oh no, I bet yours looks great, too! Why don’t you like the outcome? I love the idea of a leather obi belt with it…

Yes, definitely try it! I love simple dresses because they’re their own full outfits — yet only take a few hours to make. Well, it takes a little longer than that for me :)
