The gorgeous little set of loose shirt and bloomers is from the July 2012 issue of Burdastyle. I thought they’d be a beautiful outift for my active little girl – easy to move in, but still sweet and romantic.
The bloomers were super quick and easy, and I’ll definitely be making her another set or two. I didn’t put the lace trim on the sleeves, since I couldn’t find anything that looked right with the fabric I’d chosen. Really, it doesn’t suffer for the lack. I couldn’t resist using a pretty stitch detail on the neck binding, just because.
Very pretty pattern, and I’m really happy with them. My little girl seems to like them, too. :)
I used a Japanese printed lawn, with black ribbon & black lace trim.
