when i first saw this fabric
i knew i must have it
it’s the most ridiculous fabric i ever saw
..
it has pink flamingos
it has palm leaves
it has philodendron leaves
it’s navy
it’s so damn insane that i’m in love with it
..
to make it a bit more insane
i added some white/navy stripped cotton
..
skirt is my design
i posted it here earlier
..
jj was a bit more time consuming
than i expected it to be
(but maybe that’s fault of the fabric i choose
really thin rayon, highly opinionated one
we had quite a few fights along the way)
..
although i adore ruffles
i think this blouse is ridiculous enough even without them
(and.. there was not enough fabric)
..

You should really call yourself MOKOSHA – that name would suit the woman who wears these bright clashing prints….Ivana implies some sort of sensibility……..;) lol

Love that outfit. I think fashion must be playful, there are so much things in life that are boring so why not wear ridiculous print sometimes and have fun with. Great work!!

lol..than i’m one very brave lady, ‘cause i dress this way all the time.. this skirt is one of my all time favorites, i wear it a lot (it got me lots of compliments, also).. i do get some strange looks sometimes, but i’m ok with that.. for me, it’s important that i feel great in what i’m wearing, if i would have to wear dark wash jeans and t-shirt i would probably be in suicidal mood

hi no wonder you are named Mokosha…suits a quirky and very different person….take a picture when you wear that in town….also do you sell your stuff or you just make to wear yourself! :)

lol.. no, my name is not mokosha, my name is ivana.. mokosha is name of my blog and name of my small clothing line.. yes, i do sell my clothes (not too often though, ’cause i spend more than half year away from my home and my sewing machine, working as an archaeologist).. btw, these pictures are shoot in town (i live in a big city, and have no car, so i have to shoot my pics in town), but i like to find some backyard or little park or tree to use it as a background, instead of buildings
