I absolutely love this dress, I want to make something similar for my holidays. I have searched and can’t find a pattern like this, I am sure that it looks great on and it will definitely save on rucksack space! I can’t work out from the pictures if there is any fastening on the underpart of the dress at the back? Does it just hold itself in place? Also is the skirt part the same width at the front as the back?

I have a vintage pattern from the 50’s much like this but with a big puffy 50’s style skirt. I made one and I have yet to wear it because I can’t find the right place or accessories to make it work. But this 70’s version is much more wearable! I will definitely re-work the 50’s pattern I have without the puffy shirt and make a dress more like yours! Love it!
