This one of a kind strapless bustier is made of a brilliant red velveteen fabric with a coordinating dragon flames themed fabric at the front and back panels of thick quilters cotton fabric. This corset bodice laces at the back through machine set grommets with black satin ribbon; also used to accent the entire garment. This garment is fully lined, containing steel boning thoughout for great shape and suppport.
This garment is adjustable, (depending on how tightly you prefer to lace up), and generally accomodates bust sizes 33-37" and waist sizes 26-31" and hip size 33-38". The length of the front of the bustier is 15" and the back is 9 1/2".

I used Simplicity 2966 pattern, (with my own modifications), to complete this project.

I love that fabric. Nicely done. I tried SIM 2966. That didn’t work. Yours looks great.

Sorry it didn’t work for you. I sometimes have to loosely translate pattern directions, and it doesn’t just apply to Simplicity. They’re all a bit like that. A trial run with inexpensive fabric is how I iron out the kinks.
