Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Made a couple of skirts to see winter out and spring in :-) and to wear with a corset, as everything store bought is too big around my waist.
Used Vouge dress pattern V2902 (only the skirt portion) and a straight skirt band.
The red skirt has a red under skirt sewn in as it is only poplin and I wanted a little more volume if I was to wear it without a petticoat. The black is a single layer cotton sateen skirt.
I’ve shown them with a petticoat underneath on the stand.
Material Notes
Red and black cotton poplin, Zipper, Two self-made buttons from black poplin.

Wow!! i love these skirts. they.re gorgeous and the tops you had on with them are fab!! i.d love.to be able to wesr this style but i try to disguise my middle noy accentuate it lol. well done x
