Thanks. To be honest I usually buy the pipingtrim, but you can also make it yourself. It’s easy to to with biastape. I do it like this: I cut the biastape in half lengthwise, place a cord in the fold (I prefer a cord that is 2-4 mm in diameter), you know, you fold the tape around the cord so you have the cord cased. Place a zipper foot in your machine and then sew as close to the cased cord as possible, and there you go – you have your homemade piping.
