I once did the opposite, boughts a boob tube that was several sizes too big and wore it as a skirt! It was a stretchy t-shirt jersey, I guess all you need for a (fitted) skirt is a tube…

The checkered one is the most high waisted skirt i have ever seen! It looks good on you though, almost like a dress.
