Description

From a huge thrifted button down pinafore, i refashion it into a loose (trapeze kind?) tunic. I didn’t use any particular pattern, just drafted a basic bodice with darts, but i knew i wanted a cap-ish type of sleeve (still am not confident to attempt attaching regular sleeves). I cut off the skirt portion from the top (and used the skirt part). Retained the buttons part that comes with the outfit, and the original hem finishing. Made bias binding from the leftover material to bind the neck and armhole.

Material Notes

Thrifted cotton pinafore

Thank you so much! hehe :) the plan is also to layer it with long sleeves tee under when it gets colder.

Cute – I really like this shirt. It’s a classic piece that will go well with jeans.
