I saw this skirt on one of my shows and was obsessed with figuring out how to do the technique. After some research I found that it was a teqnique commonly used on wedding dresses, called pick-ups. Finding a how to was difficult but afters some more research I (somewhat) figured it out. This is just a prototype and I used a long piece of purple fabric and safety pins. I think for my final version I’ll make it in black
Purple poly/cotton broadcloth

Thanks all! As for a how to, I can definitely do it, it just might take me a few weeks, I have an exam to get out of the way =P Also, for the technique, I edited cuz I totally spaced and didn’t name the technique, but they are called pick-ups.
