Burda Style For people who sew
Description
when i first saw this fabric
i think i screamed out loud
and ladies at the fabric store looked at me as i was a lunatic
..
it has hundreds of penny-farthings printed on it
oh my
it’s like a dream come true
..
i wanted to make it into burda peter pan dress
i cut pattern pieces
started sewing and almost finished it
put on the zipper and everything
tried it on
and it was a disaster
..
and i was warned by anajan that peter pan dress have a strange fit
wide all over
but i still wanted to give it a try
and failed miserably
..
so.. i seam ripped the whole thing
and then hide it somewhere
..
then i found this collar at flea market
well.. i find a shirt with it.. but shirt was polyester horror
and ended up in garbage
..
i decided to make peter pan dress all over again
only mine version, not burda’s
..
i used basic bodice pattern i had
changed the neckline according to lace collar
and combined all the scraps from previous dress
to make one wide rectangle for skirt
..
would be happier with fuller skirt
but there wasn’t any fabric left in my stash
nor in the fabric store
..
i wore the dress for my b-day party the other day
and was very happy with it in the end

Caos! Odlicno si iskoristirla materijal, haljinica je preslatka. Kragna se savrseno uklapa sa dezenom, a zbog cipela sam skroz ljubomorna! :) Vec videh na blogu gde si ih pazarila, moram da pozurim i ja, nadam se da ih jos ima na lageru…

hvala :) nadam se da ces naci cipelice, imaju i u braon boji i prilicno su jeftine.. mada nisu bas za predugo stajanje ili setanje, prilicno su visoke (iako ih ja nosim i u takvim prilikama i patim grozno hehe).. inace, kao sto vidis vrnula sam se u bg, pa se javi kad imas vremena za druzenje
