About halfway complete. At first the plan was for a dress, then it turned into separates. I raided my boyfriend’s closet for the old grey shirt, used a fitted pencil skirt I already had as a template, cut and sewed to hug in all the right places. Then I realized that when I buttoned it down it was too small! So I cut and sewed the brown shirt to fit, cut off the sleeves and used the extra fabric to widen the skirt. I hand sewed that with bright blue thread. The plan is to make a belt (or maybe even suspenders??) for the front of the skirt, and add grey sleeves from the skirt shirt to the brown top. :)
Very soft, grey boyfriend’s shirt for skirt. Old, ill-fitting blouse made to fit for top.
