A top which had to be drafted from a basic slope. Which has to be fitted on self before proceeding to the actual pattern drafting. I wanted to teach myself about fitting and basic pattern alteration. I also altered the basic plan a little by adding to the length of the top as I like to wear my tops on the hip. Instead of stopping at the waist.
It’s not that hard, as long as you can spare the time and can do a little thinking ahead about the finishing of the piece, as seams, and instructions are not clear to me (japanese is not my lingo).
Cotton muslin, will be proceeding with a cotton silk poplin. For the collar a silk organza.

Thanx for the positivie reactions. I’m still a sewing novice so I miss a certain finesse. But these patterns let you get a way with a lot, as long as you have the time to adjust and readjust. Will keep you posted

Waow, great job! I often flick through the two Magic pattern volumes. They are great although there is one I prefer, don’t remember which one. The author of the book is using a small mannequin (the way Madeleine Vionnet did) to realize her patterns and working with a scaled down version seems to best way to use scarp fabric before THE definite cut, sigh…..I wish I had time to experiment !
