Orange quilting skirt

Added Nov 11, 2008

by fabricaddict

Durban, South Af...

I made this panelled skirt a few months ago but only got round to wearing it today – the weather has been cool still – by the end of the day I had to undo the zip a bit due to sheer discomfort because of my growing pregnant belly – think it’s time for elastic waisted skirts! This is a winner pattern and I have made a few skirts from it

Material Notes

I bought this fabric when I was in the states a few years ago from Walmart, it is quilting fabric. I sewed brown ribbon – 2 different widths along the edge

Congratulations! I like the way you paired it with the blue top. They really compliment each other. You really made the skirt pop with the added ribbon trim. Very pretty!
