Thank you so much Burdastyle magazine for another lovely and simple pattern.
This blouse pattern was from September 2011 issue No. 128 but if you dont have the magazine you can download the pattern here too: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/092011-sleeveless-blouse
The yoke of the blouse extends from the back piece over the shoulders and there are some interesting pleats on the front. Bias strips always look good in gingham and finished off the armholes beautifully. The subtle cap sleeves sharpen the shape and I think it gives a little 40s edge.
You can read more about it on my blog

This is so great! I was planning on doing a white cotton version but I think it really needs to be gingham now. Not usually a fan, but this pattern looks great with the small squares. The “novelty” buttons are just perfect. You look extremely elegant with your black skirt and red bag.

Thank you. Do it, do it! It doesn’t take too long to make up.

I think I’ll add it to my Spring plan. Make it up in a seersucker gingham would be perfect for a Georgia summer.

Thank you so much. I wasn’t sure about the dress at first but the shirt is so comfortable that I can see the dress working very well too, of course cinched in nicely with a belt!
