I’ve pretty much adored every version of the Ruby shorts that I’ve seen on here, but wasn’t convinced my booty would look any good in them. However, the summer heat got to me so I stepped up and made my own. I eliminated the front jet pocket coz I’m lazy, ignored the questionable belt add-on thing, and replace the back pocket pattern pieces with my favourite patch pocket shape from a Built By You pattern. I couldn’t understand the turnups instructions, so used a method a sample machinist once taught me, which worked very well. I’m really happy with the results and have worn them heaps since their creation. More on my blog: http://sozowhatdoyouknow.blogspot.com/
