I found this material at IKEA a couple of years ago and made this simple A-line skirt. I love wearing it in summer time. Quite a few people have asked me if it’s Marimeko! I simply love it!

Great skirt! I didn’t know you can buy a fabric at IKEA! I’m from Canada now and IKEAs here do not offer fabrics for sale. :-(

I’ve gone into Ikea’s fabric section so many times thinking “I wish this stuff was lightweight enough to make clothes out of!”. I guess for a simple structured skirt like this it actually works pretty well though. I’ve definitely got to try out some of those crazy prints now!
