I found some amazing vintage print Hawaiian fabric whilst on my Hawaiian honeymoon and was waiting for an opportunity to do justice with it! I decided to take the plunge and make my first dress with it for my friends wedding. I based the dress on the MadisonAF23 pattern but as I had limited material I decided to omit the pockets and replaced the large collar with a smaller roll neck. Making my first dress was a real learning curve(!) but I was pretty pleased with how it came out.

The print is beautiful and so much fun. It takes a bold person to wear that print. Your friend looks great in it! She seems to have a great personality and sense of style!

Love the neckline. So open and wide! Flattering but not too revealing! Lovely.
