The fairy costume is three pieces with out the wings, wand or tiera. I made a four colored corset for the top, Purple, green, pink and yellow Silks. I did place eyelets in the back to secure the top. Bonding was used and cover by yellow ribon. The skirt is two pieces, the tutu and the “fancy skirt”, the top layer. The skirt is based on a leaf patter that i drew, Green and purple silks with a pink silk band to secure the waist. I also sewed on about 8 fake yellow flowers to the skirt around the waist to give some more look. The tutu consists of serverl strips of mesh material. I did mine about 9 inches long but i did alot so the poof would emaculate! like a realy ballerina tutu! I did make wings but i made then alot smaller than you would normaly see, because im going as a hula hoopin fairy so i need my wing to be small.
Used alll silk materal beside mesh for tutu. I used bonding in the corset and cover with a yellow ribbon.
