I love and admire Burberry’s Prorsum collection as well as Walter Baker’s version so I decided to create the look myself using 2 jackets that I have.
I took an olive safari peplum style jacket and ripped the seams off to remove the sleeves. I then took a black satin trench that I never wear and cut the sleeves off of it. I pinned and aligned the sleeves to the olive jacket and machine sewed them together using a straight stitch. I also replaced the main buttons with black ones to add more appeal to the black contrasting. I then added a black satin belt to complete the look.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
