Twice within one week I came across what they call multi-fabric or mixed-material scarfs in fashion magazines, apparently the newest must-have of the season. They are designer-made scarfs, put together of usually 3 different types of materials (silk, cotton, chiffon) with different colors and a crazy pattern-mix. They charge about 200-300 Euros for one… Well guess what? I have a huge box full of mixed fabrics…
Here is my version of it. I made it double-faced, because some of my materials are very light and transparent and I want it to keep me warm. I could also use even more different fabrics this way and give the scarf an extra luxurious look.
I added instructions, even though I am sure you can all figure this out yourselves – but maybe it will give you that extra kick to really go ahead and do it. These are also my first instructions, so I wanted to try it on something easy… (English is not my first language, sorry about the mistakes). Feedback is welcome.
It’s such a fun thing to make, super fast – and maybe the perfect christmas gift!
