Description

Here’s the final dress. It turned out better than I expected. However, there will be a little tweaking with the bodice. The dress is fully lined and has a ruched waist band and banded sleeves.
I now have a pattern from which I can make “L” a lot of nice dresses and tops.
Loving it!

    Your client looks really happy—it’s a flattering style for her and you did nice work on the fitting. It was good to see the muslin earlier and then the finished product. Thanks!

    (P.S. The project upload page says “Project intro images should be at least 615 px wide…” So if the picture is smaller than 615 pixels, that may be why it’s being distorted. I’ve also noticed fewer problems uploading vertically oriented images).

      Thanks so much Jenss for the compliment and the tip. I thought the problem was with my camera phone. I’ll try making the image the correct size and see what happens.

      My picture was larger. I think I have to change my orientation when shooting to get the best result. I’ve reduced the size and still couldn’t make it work. Next time though. :)
