I made this bag with my favorite purple fabric, and I really love the ribbon attached at the edge.
It took some time to decide each size and draft patterns. I think it’s easy to arrange my patterns into your style. One thing I regret is I didn’t choose thicker interfacing. When I bring up the bag, it loses its shape a little. But, I’m basically satisfied.

Nice bag. I have a question to you and others reading this regarding your comment on using thicker interfacing. I have been interfacing my bags with fusible fleece for the many years that I have been making bags. I am finding it very difficult to find fleece that is thick enough. The quality of the fusible fleece that I can find has diminished over the years. Pellon’s has gotten thinner and thinner and the one that I liked the most – Warm and Natural – is to my knowledge no longer available. Any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated.

Have you tried JKMRibbonsandtrims.com they have a lot of trims to choose from or making your own trim with a special ruler.

Thank you, elenay.
I think you know much more than I. I’ve just started sewing here in NY, so I don’t know well about sewing products in the U.S. I’ve heard from someone who is a sewing teacher that “Steinlauf & Stoller Inc” (239 West 39th street, NY) has a lot of varieties of interfacings. But I’m not sure.. Sorry for my useless reply!
