oh goodness, where to start on this? i caved in and bought the book twinkle sews after lusting over it for month. excited to make my first project from it, i choose the love in the afternoon dress. after printing out all 40…yes FORTY pages of the pattern i went to work. the pattern was horribly written, there are no markings on any of the pattern pieces for placement, and the shoulder straps were so short that i ripped them out and used black ribbon. i made the size zero, but the dress is huge on me….even with the black tank top under it. oh, and the book said you need 2 yards of fabric, but for the smallest size i used almost three….
3 yards cotton fabric, ribbon
